About the role
We're looking for an Operations Center Engineer specialising in Application Monitoring Services to join Saudi Digitalization's managed services team. You'll be responsible for the proactive monitoring of application health, performance, and availability across complex enterprise environments — detecting incidents before they impact end users.
Working within our Operations Center, you'll leverage leading APM solutions to monitor web applications, APIs, and microservices, analyse performance metrics, and coordinate fast, effective incident response. You'll work closely with client development and infrastructure teams to ensure application SLAs are consistently met.
This role requires strong technical knowledge of application architectures, hands-on APM experience, and the ability to communicate performance insights clearly to both engineering and business stakeholders.
What you'll do
Responsibilities
- Monitor application performance and availability using APM solutions such as Dynatrace, AppDynamics, and New Relic
- Detect and respond to application incidents and performance degradation within agreed SLA windows
- Analyse application performance metrics including Response Time, Error Rate, and Throughput
- Identify root causes of application performance issues and coordinate resolution with relevant teams
- Maintain application monitoring dashboards and alert threshold configurations
- Escalate complex incidents to senior engineers with clear and detailed documentation
- Produce incident reports, trend analyses, and recommendations for application performance improvement
What we're looking for
Skills & requirements
- Saudi National Only
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or equivalent
- Minimum 4 years of experience in application performance monitoring and incident detection
- Hands-on experience with APM solutions such as Dynatrace, AppDynamics, and New Relic
- Good understanding of application architectures including Web Applications, APIs, and Microservices
- Ability to analyse application performance metrics such as Response Time and Error Rate
- Fluent in Arabic and English (spoken and written)
Bonus points
Nice to have
- Experience with containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Dynatrace Associate, AppDynamics, or similar APM certification
- Experience with log management platforms such as ELK Stack or Splunk
- Familiarity with distributed tracing and observability tools
