About the role
We're looking for an Operations Center Engineer specialising in Network Monitoring Services to join Saudi Digitalization's managed services practice. You will be responsible for the 24/7 monitoring, analysis, and first-line response to network events across our enterprise client environments.
Working within our Operations Center, you'll use industry-leading monitoring platforms to maintain network visibility, identify anomalies, and coordinate resolution of incidents in line with agreed SLAs. You'll work across multi-vendor environments spanning routers, switches, firewalls, and WAN infrastructure.
This is a hands-on technical role requiring strong networking knowledge and the ability to operate calmly under pressure in a fast-paced operations environment.
What you'll do
Responsibilities
- Monitor network infrastructure 24/7 using tools such as Cisco Prime, SolarWinds, or equivalent
- Detect, analyse, and respond to network events and incidents within agreed SLA windows
- Escalate complex incidents to senior engineers and vendors as appropriate
- Maintain and update network monitoring dashboards and alert thresholds
- Document incident timelines, root-cause analyses, and resolution steps
- Coordinate with client IT teams and third-party vendors during incident response
- Contribute to shift handover reports and operations centre knowledge base
What we're looking for
Skills & requirements
- Saudi National Only
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or equivalent
- Minimum 4 years of experience in network monitoring and management
- Hands-on experience with monitoring tools such as Cisco Prime, SolarWinds, or equivalent
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols including TCP/IP, DNS, and SNMP
- Professional certification: CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or equivalent (required)
- Fluent in Arabic and English (spoken and written)
- Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work under pressure
Bonus points
Nice to have
- Experience with multi-vendor network environments (Cisco, Huawei, Juniper)
- Knowledge of network automation or scripting (Python, Ansible)
- Familiarity with SIEM or NOC ticketing tools
- CCNP or equivalent advanced networking certification
- Experience with SD-WAN, MPLS, or cloud networking environments
- Experience in banking, government, or telco NOC environments in KSA
