About the role
We're looking for an Operations Center Engineer with expertise in Server, Operating Systems, and Storage Monitoring Services to join Saudi Digitalization's managed services team. You'll be responsible for proactive monitoring and first-line incident response across Windows/Linux server estates and SAN/NAS storage environments.
Working within our Operations Center, you'll ensure the availability, performance, and health of client infrastructure across on-premises and hybrid environments. You'll use leading monitoring platforms to detect, triage, and resolve server and storage incidents before they impact business operations.
This role requires strong infrastructure knowledge, a methodical troubleshooting approach, and the ability to communicate clearly with both technical teams and client stakeholders.
What you'll do
Responsibilities
- Monitor Windows and Linux servers and SAN/NAS storage systems using tools such as PRTG and SolarWinds
- Detect and respond to server and storage incidents within agreed SLA windows
- Perform first-line troubleshooting on OS-level, disk, memory, and storage issues
- Escalate unresolved issues to senior engineers with clear incident documentation
- Maintain capacity utilisation dashboards and alert thresholds
- Document incident timelines, root-cause analyses, and resolution steps
- Support planned maintenance windows and change management activities
What we're looking for
Skills & requirements
- Saudi National Only
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or equivalent
- Minimum 4 years of experience monitoring and managing Windows/Linux servers and SAN/NAS storage systems
- Hands-on experience with monitoring tools such as PRTG and SolarWinds
- Ability to troubleshoot incidents and provide technical solutions
- Professional certification: RHCSA, MCSA, or equivalent (required)
- Fluent in Arabic and English (spoken and written)
Bonus points
Nice to have
- RHCE, MCSE, or equivalent advanced certification
- Experience with VMware or Hyper-V virtualisation environments
- Exposure to cloud-hosted servers on AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, or Huawei Cloud
- Familiarity with backup platforms such as Veritas NetBackup or Veeam
