About the role
We're looking for a Senior Software QA Engineer with deep hands-on experience in functional, non-functional, and API testing to join our team in Riyadh. You will be responsible for designing and executing comprehensive test strategies across web and iOS/Android mobile applications.
This role requires proven experience on Saudi Arabia-based projects and a strong command of QA methodologies and test automation. You'll work closely with development and business teams to identify gaps early, track defects through resolution, and uphold quality standards across all delivery phases.
The ideal candidate is based in Saudi Arabia, holds a valid transferable Iqama, and is available to join immediately. Saudi Nationality is not required.
What you'll do
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute test plans, test scenarios, and test cases for web and mobile applications
- Conduct comprehensive testing of system APIs to ensure functionality, data integrity, and integration compatibility
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing
- Utilize API testing tools such as Postman or SoapUI
- Identify, document, track, and resolve business gaps and defects through to resolution
- Collaborate with development and business teams to ensure quality delivery
What we're looking for
Skills & requirements
- Must be based in Saudi Arabia with a valid transferable Iqama (Saudi Nationality not required)
- Available to join immediately (ASAP)
- 7+ years of experience in Quality Assurance and software testing
- ISTQB-CTFL certification (mandatory)
- Hands-on experience testing iOS and Android mobile applications
- Strong experience in functional, non-functional, and API testing
- Experience testing web and mobile applications on Saudi Arabia projects
- Proficiency with API testing tools such as Postman or SoapUI
- Proficiency with test automation tools and frameworks
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies, testing processes, and quality standards
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
