About the role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Web Developer to lead the design, development, and maintenance of high-quality, responsive web applications using React.js and Next.js. The successful candidate will drive technical decisions, mentor junior developers, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into robust, scalable solutions.
You will leverage AI-assisted development tools to work efficiently while upholding high standards of performance, security, and user experience across all digital channels.
This is a Saudi National-only role based on-site in Riyadh.
What you'll do
Responsibilities
- Lead the development, testing, and maintenance of responsive web applications using React.js and Next.js
- Architect scalable front-end solutions and establish best practices, coding standards, and reusable component libraries
- Implement server-side rendering (SSR), static site generation (SSG), and API routes with Next.js
- Leverage AI-assisted coding tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude, Cursor) to accelerate development and improve team productivity
- Critically review, validate, and test AI-generated code to ensure correctness, security, and adherence to coding standards
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior and mid-level developers, and lead code reviews
- Translate complex UI/UX designs into clean, efficient, and maintainable code
- Integrate applications with RESTful APIs, databases, and third-party services
- Ensure cross-browser compatibility, accessibility, and mobile responsiveness
- Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and security
- Drive version control (Git / Azure DevOps) and CI/CD workflows
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex production issues in a timely manner
- Collaborate with designers, product owners, and stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle
What we're looking for
Skills & requirements
- Saudi National Only
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- 5+ years of professional experience building production web applications with significant experience in React.js
- Strong hands-on experience with Next.js (routing, SSR/SSG, API routes)
- Expert-level proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3
- Solid experience with state management (e.g., Redux, Zustand, or React Context)
- Demonstrated experience leading projects and mentoring other developers
- Practical experience using AI coding assistants as part of the development workflow
- Strong experience consuming and integrating RESTful APIs
- Proficiency with version control systems (Git / Azure DevOps)
- Deep understanding of responsive design, web performance optimization, and front-end architecture
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and architectural thinking
- Effective communication and collaboration skills

Nice to have
- Experience with TypeScript
- Familiarity with modern styling approaches (Tailwind CSS, CSS Modules, or styled-components)
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Familiarity with secure coding practices and web security standards
- Awareness of accessibility (WCAG) and SEO best practices
